What? My hair didn't hate me this morning?! (Fist pump)

Everyone is doing the no heat curl nowadays, I understand. BUT, I had never heard of it until I was over reading delirious rhapsody's post about how easy it was even for terrible hair like mine and I figured "What the hell? At least it gives me a good reason to buy a new headband."

See, her hair came out in gorgeous locks that only princesses like Princess Peach have. My hair looks more like Toad. (Why is Mario there? Just because he is awesome.)
I am the one on the far left

See that hair? It is like an evil bitch that laughs at any attempt to style it, fighting back by getting even poofier and frizzier. I try a new style every day, only to glare at my hair in the mirror and pull it back into a ponytail.

So (crazy rambling later), I watched Paper Mama's tutorial and it looked easy enough. Yeah, shorter hair is a helluva lot harder. I had to pin and clip the back a million ways to get it to stay together, and then i doused it in hairspray before I went to bed.
But......................
I woke up and undid my wraps and voila!
It wasn't frizzy! It wasn't poofy, but had volume to it! It held curl even through me brushing it like a maniac!
Conclusion: LOVED IT like a watermelon margarita. I am going to start doing this more often, and I am really excited for my hair to get longer now.
If you haven't tried it..... TRY IT!

Everyone has to do an intro now adays

Plain and simple intro to start.

This is me. I am Stephanie and I am 22. I love everything and nothing.
I like to cook, fish and be a goofy goober dork. Oh, and I am a freak for birds (esp. owls). I also wear a camera like it is a limb on my body. I love my mom and sister to pieces, and I miss my dad dearly.
This is Kyle. We've been together since I was 14, a freshman in high school. We aren't legally married yet, but I control the bank accounts and bills, so I am called his "ball & chain/woman/etc." He's a lover of his computer, his video games, and his classic car. Oh yeah, he is an amazing dad. Like, AMAZING.
This little Batman-ed devil is Wyatt. I had him right before my 19th birthday and he has made everything about life so much better. He is going to be 4 in a few months and it baffles me how much he has grown up. He loves to read and is starting to fish at the lake and loves loves loves Halloween. Yes, it was a great coincidence that his birthday is near this holiday because he loves it more than Santa filled Christmas or Chocolatey Valentines Day.

So, here is our small family. I didn't fly out of Georgia at my first chance like I had always wanted, and I don't go out and party my ass off until 4 in the morning, but I love my life. I spend my days with Hotwheels, Playdoh, freshly dug worms, and 'awesome swords of all things Power Rangers' (the original PR, not the remakes they keep making. We keep old school around here)
Feel free to look around.
